PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a small pump having a relatively low power output to efficiently cool a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1A includes: a stator 10 having multiple coils 26 arranged in a circumferential direction; a rotor 12 disposed at the inner side of the stator 10; and a case 16 which houses the stator 10 and the rotor 12 and rotatably supports the rotor 12. The case 16 includes: a rotor chamber Rr in which the rotor 12 is disposed; a stator chamber Sr disposed at the outer side of the rotor chamber Rr; and a liquid introduction part 2 and a liquid discharge part 3 for supplying/discharging a coolant to/from the stator chamber Sr. The stator chamber Sr includes multiple guide plates 30 which are provided between a wall surface of the case 16 (a side plate 18) and the coils 26 spaced away from each other in the circumferential direction. The guide plates 30 are arranged so that the coolant circulates in the circumferential direction while going through spaces between the adjacent coils 26 and thereby meandering the stator chamber Sr. |
