PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with enhanced heat dissipation efficiency.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a battery comprising: a battery element (2) including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte; and a structure prepared for short circuit and heat dissipation, the structure being disposed outside the battery element, the structure comprising insulation layers (13a, b) and two resistor layers (11a, b; 12a, b) opposing to each other with the insulation layers interposed between them. One of the two resistor layers is electrically connected to a positive electrode lead terminal (4) at a positive electrode connection part, and the other resistor layer is electrically connected to a negative electrode lead terminal (5) at a negative electrode connection part. The structure prepared for short circuit and heat dissipation is arranged so as to cover at least one part of the battery element. When the two resistor layers are short-circuited, a short circuit resistance between the positive electrode lead terminal and the negative electrode lead terminal is set to be 1/10 or more of the battery internal resistance. |
