PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple web cutting device having high cutting performance at a low cost.SOLUTION: A cutting device of an embodiment is provided with: a cutting member 40 having a blade 52 for cutting a web W; a drive part for driving the cutting member 40 so that the blade 52 passes through a point most adjacent to a new core 26b in the nearly tangential direction of the new core 26b to cut the web W; and a pressing member 56 which is provided at the rear side in the cutting drive direction of the blade 52 and presses the top of the web W on the outer peripheral face of the new core 26b so as to continue to the web W cutting operation by the cutting member 40. |
