The plug fastener (10) comprises a male portion (11) and a receiving portion (12) for establishing a detachable connection of the male portion with the receiving portion, and a form-fitting connection (14) provided for transmitting a pulling force. A separate fuse (13) is provided for preventing unwanted release of the form-fitting connection. An actuating mechanism (33) is provided for releasing the fuse and is comprised of a resiliently mounted operating element (16) corresponding to the male portion.
