Provided are a network switching method and apparatus, and a terminal. The method comprises: determining that a terminal cannot execute a data service using a long term evolution (LTE) network; monitoring service parameters about a data service activation failure under an evolved high rate packet data (EHRPD) network, with the service parameters comprising the number of times of data service activation failures or reason values of the data service activation failures; judging whether the service parameters conform to a first condition, wherein the first condition is a pre-set condition for the terminal to exit from the EHRPD network; and if the service parameters conform to the first condition, exiting from the EHRPD network, and requesting to access an HRPD network, such that when a 4G card is inserted into the terminal but the terminal cannot access a 4G network, the terminal can quickly access the HRPD network to execute a data service, thereby effectively improving the performance of the terminal. |
