a shaft; a magnetostrictive film disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft; an insulative bobbin having a bobbin winding holder disposed around an outer circumferential surface of the magnetostrictive film; and a plurality of detection coils configured to detect a change in magnetic characteristics of the magnetostrictive film, the detection coils being juxtaposed on the bobbin winding holder along an axial direction of the shaft, face-to-face with the magnetostrictive film across the bobbin winding holder; wherein the bobbin includes a bobbin support disposed on the bobbin winding holder at a central position in an axial direction of the detection coils, the bobbin support being configured to support the bobbin winding holder. |
