PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count formed images in a page unit at least for each color without deteriorating the performance for forming images in accordance with image data transmitted from a print control device.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: an image formation part which forms an image for each color in accordance with image data for each color transmitted from a print control device and page information in a page unit indicating at least the color of the image data; and a counter control part which counts the images in a page unit formed for each color by the image formation part on the basis of the page information for each color.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
