PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove ink deposited on a top surface of a wiper member with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A head cleaning device of a liquid discharge head for discharging a droplet from a nozzle has: a wiper member 83 for wiping off a nozzle surface by relative movement with a nozzle surface of the liquid discharge head; and a scraper 91 for cleaning the top surface of the wiper member 83. The scraper 91 moves the top surface of the wiper member 83 in a thickness direction of the wiper member 83, and cleans the top surface of the wiper member 83.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
