PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a broadcast receiver and an output control method" capable of shortening the output time of a voice modulated by the delay processing, in a broadcast receiver arranged to synchronize two broadcasts by the delay processing.SOLUTION: In a broadcast receiver 10 including a delay time calculation unit 107 for calculating the delay time of IP broadcast from DAB broadcast, and a delay processing unit 109 for synchronizing the output timing of the voice data of DAB broadcast with that of the voice data of IP broadcast, by performing the delay processing for the voice data of DAB broadcast depending on the calculated delay time, the delay processing unit 109 prolongs the output time of the data not including the voice by using a delay rate higher than that of the data including the voice so that, in the whole output time of the voice data prolonged by the delay processing, the occupation ratio of the data not including the voice can be increased, while reducing the occupation ratio of the data including the voice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
