A shift device has lever members (24) arranged between a sleeve (20), a hub (12), and synchronizer rings (22) to amplify and transmit pressing force of the sleeve to one of the synchronizer ring. The lever members include a top portion (24a) and arm portions (24c) at the both sides of the top portion. The lever members are provided with a torque receiving surface (24e) capable of receiving friction torque from projections (22c) of the synchronizer rings on an intermediate portion of each arm portion between the top portion and a second slide surface (24d) provided on each end of the arm portions. |
