摘要 Disclosed is a method for determining a magnetic resonance control sequence (AS) including at least one first pulse array (PA1, PA1′) acting in a space selective manner in a first selected direction (SR1) and a subsequent second pulse array (PA2, PA2′) acting in a space selective manner in a second selected direction (SR2). To this end, a viewing volume dimension parameter values (dx, dy, dz) defining a spatial range of a viewing volume (Vin) to be excited are registered. The first selected direction (SR1) and the second selected direction (SR2) are automatically set according to length proportions of a spatial range of the viewing volume (Vin) to be excited in the different selected directions (SR1, SR2). In addition, a method for operating the magnetic resonance system (1), a control sequence determining apparatus (22) for determining the magnetic resonance control sequence (AS), and a magnetic resonance system (1) including the control sequence determining apparatus (22) are provided.
