Provided is a mixing and cooking device comprising: a container (20) that holds an object to be heated; a mixing body (10) having a magnetic body (12); and a rotating magnetic field generation unit (60). The mixing body (10) is detachably provided on the bottom of the container (20) and mixes the object to be heated held therein. The rotating magnetic field generation unit (60) is disposed about the outer periphery of the container (20), generates a magnetic field, and causes the same to travel toward the magnetic body (12) to drive the mixing body (10).
