In the present invention, a mask region designating unit (115) uses a planar image, obtained by converting coordinates in a fish-eye image captured using a fish-eye lens (100), to convert, to fish-eye image coordinates, the coordinates of one region designated as a mask region within the planar image, and the mask region designating unit designates, as a mask region within the fish-eye image, one region within the fish-eye image, such region corresponding to the one region within the planar image. A mask processing unit (118) masks the mask region within the fish-eye image, such region having been designated by the mask region designating unit (115). |
