[Problem] To give a novel tactile sensation to a user and to increase the variation in tactile sensation given to a user in an input device equipped with an operation part that is displaced in response to the input of a load such as that of a physical button. [Solution] An input device 1 is provided with an operation part 2 that is displaced in response to the input of a load F and is configured such that the displaced operation part 2 returns to an initial position. When the operation part 2 is displaced by a prescribed distance from the initial position due to the input of the load F to the operation part 2, such input is accepted. The input device 1 is provided with a means for causing the operation part 2 to vibrate from when displacement of the operation part 2 due to the input of the load F begins until the operation part 2 returns to the initial position.
