PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output power while following up variation of the system voltage, in a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 includes a fuel cell 11d, an inverter device 16 for receiving the output power of the fuel cell 11d and outputting, while converting into AC power, to a system power supply 12, a power measurement device 13a for detecting the system voltage, i.e., the voltage of the system power supply 12, an excess power absorption heater 30 for receiving and consuming the output power of the fuel cell 11d, and a controller 17 for controlling the fuel cell 11d, inverter device 16 and excess power absorption heater 30. When the system voltage detected by the power measurement device 13a is larger than a voltage rise suppression threshold, the controller 17 reduces the output power from the inverter device 16 by adjusting the consumption of the output power from fuel cell 11d in the excess power absorption heater 30, while maintaining the output power from fuel cell 11d at a constant output level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
