PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jukebox system in which a digital download jukebox function is incorporated.SOLUTION: A juke box system 10' comprises local servers respectively connected to jukebox devices 16, 16a-16f. A central server comprises a music master library. The respective jukebox devices comprise a part of the master library in a local storage device. The central server may be used for individually managing a content of each jukebox device for maximizing a use ratio of music. The central server receives data periodically, from each jukebox for calculation and payment of royalty of the reproduced music. A communication network may be an optional and proper network for distributing data to the jukebox 16 from the central server, and uploading data from the jukebox to the central server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
