PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording medium which is high in recording sensitivity and high in diffraction efficiency. SOLUTION: The hologram recording medium includes light translucent first and second substrates and a recording layer which is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate, has a three-dimensional crosslinking polymer matrix, a radical polymerizable compound and an optical radical polymerization initiator, exhibits rubber-like elasticity and is≥A45 to≤A85 in the value of durometer hardness.
