A ball bearing structure of a centrifugal refrigerant compressor is provided to cool a bearing by using a refrigerant used in a freezer instead of separately including a cooling unit and a drive source. A ball bearing structure of a centrifugal refrigerant compressor includes a ball bearing(10), a refrigerant supply line(20), and a refrigerant discharge line. The ball bearing supports a rotational shaft of an impeller of the compressor. The refrigerant supply line supplies a refrigerant compressed by the impeller to the ball bearing. The refrigerant discharge line discharges the refrigerant cooling the ball bearing to a diffuser of the compressor.
