PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit an album image easily which gives a sense of unity in tone of color and looks good. SOLUTION: In creating the album image, a representative color which has a representative value as a color ingredient value is detected from a histogram of each static image. From a color designated by a user or a color which has equalized the representative color of individual static image, a target color in correcting a background color of a template image and a hue of the static image is set. When the target color is set, the representative color and target color of the individual static image are compared and a value of color range is obtained. On the basis of color range value, tone of color correction value for approximating the tone of color of each static image to the target color is decided and tone of color correction is performed and tone of color correction of the static image is performed. The static image whose tone of color has been corrected is composed into a template image with the target color as the background color, and the album image which gives a sense of unity to the tone of color is created.
