The method involves constructing a submerged tunnel (1) on a submarine ground by utilizing a machine. The machine is advanced in the water on the ground, upon request, along the way planned for the tunnel. The tunnel is maintained watertight along its entire construction. Communication is established between a constructed part of the tunnel and a workspace of the machine for permitting installation of a new section of the tunnel. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a device for implementing a submerged tunnel constructing method.
