PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a motor while improving the responsiveness at an initial stage of braking. SOLUTION: The current supplied to first and second motors 11, 12 is not converted into a current value corresponding to the target wheel cylinder (W/C) pressure but extended immediately when a brake fluid amount discharged by respective pumps 7 to 10 reaches an ineffective consumption fluid amount. Specifically, the extended time T2 is set based on the magnitude of the target W/C pressure at the point of the time T1 when the brake fluid amount discharged by the respective pumps 7 to 10 reaches the ineffective consumption fluid amount.
