PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving driving stability, while restricting the occurrence of vulcanization failure. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire provided with at least one layer of carcass layer 4, as a reinforcing cord for the carcass layer 4, a polyolefin ketone fiber cord having a dry heat shrinkage stress of 0.19 to 0.81 cN/dtex at 150°C, elastic modulus of 130 to 270 cN/dtex and composition expressed with a formula (1): -(CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-CO)n-(R-CO)m- is used. In this formula, n and m satisfy an equality/inequality 1.05≥(n+m)/n≥1.00, and R means an alkylene group having three or more carbon. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
