PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication robot capable of realizing smooth communication. SOLUTION: The communication robot 10 performs the communication while facing a first object person 301, and performs the communication with a second object person 40 via a communication means. The communication robot performs a first mode for performing the autonomous operation, a second mode for performing the operation instructed from the second object person 40, and a third mode for performing the operation to reflect the operation of the second object person 40 and for mediating the communication with the first object person 301 and the second object person 40. The robot 10 can perform the smooth communication with the facing person 301, perform the smooth communication with the person 40 in contact via a communication means, and performs the smooth communication between the facing person 301 and the person 40 in contact via the communication means.
