PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triaxial spherical motor that can be miniaturized more easily than a conventional one.SOLUTION: A triaxial spherical motor 100 comprises: a fixing portion 206 which is formed of a magnetic material; a permanent magnet 204 which is formed into a column shape, and whose one end having any one of magnetic pole of N pole or S pole is fixed to a fixing surface which is a surface of the fixing portion 206; a plurality of drivers A1, A2, B1, and B2 which are magnetostriction materials formed into U-shapes; and a spherical rotor 202 which is a magnetic material formed into a spherical shape. A plurality of the drivers surround a periphery of the permanent magnet 204, and the ends of the two U-shaped legs are fixed to the fixing surface so that a U-shaped front surface faces the permanent magnet 204. The spherical rotor 202 is held so as to contact to all drive surfaces as parts equivalent to beam structures for connecting the two U-shaped legs out of front surfaces of a plurality of the drivers. A coil is wound around each of the two legs that a plurality of the drivers have respectively. |
