PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an article while continuing operation when the article is bitten, in an article supply device for carrying the article 2 having a flange 2b in a suspending state by supporting an under surface of the flange.SOLUTION: The flange of the article is supported and carried by an article receiving part 10 arranged at an equal interval in a circumferential direction on the outer periphery of a rotary body 6 and an outer peripheral guide 8 arranged on the outer peripheral side of the rotary body. The outer peripheral guide includes a movable guide 14 capable of advancing and retreating to an advance position for supporting the article and a retreat position for not supporting the article by an air cylinder 16 arranged on the downstream side of a chute 4, and a fixed guide 18 arranged on the downstream side of the movable guide. The movable guide is provided with a rocking part 24 of escaping by rocking when the article bites in. The rocking is detected by biting-in detecting means 42 and 44, and the article is dropped by moving the movable guide to the retreat position. The bitten article can be removed while rotating the rotary body. |
