PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus having a small size, light weight, a reduced manufacturing cost and sufficient capacitance. SOLUTION: The antenna apparatus includes: a dielectric substrate 2; an antenna element 5 that is formed of a metal plate and is arranged at a predetermined distance from the dielectric substrate 2; a plurality of legs 6 that extend from the antenna element 5 toward the dielectric substrate 2; and a chip capacitor 4 that is electrically connected to the legs 6 and the dielectric substrate 2.
