PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom in layout of an automatic delivery article supplying device and an automatic delivery article sorting machine, and to prevent a stacking failure by properly adjusting attitude of the delivery article in transportation. SOLUTION: This delivery article attitude changing device 1 for changing attitude of a thin mail M in a transport path for transporting the thin mails M in the horizontal state, separating them from each other, comprises an inlet transport section 10 for carrying the thin mail M in the horizontal state into the device, a delivery article rotating section 20 for rotating the carried thin mail M by a predetermined angle, while maintaining horizontal state thereof, an adjusting section 30 for adjusting position of the rotated thin mail M, and an outlet transport section 40 for carrying out the thin mail M, which is adjusted in attitude, by changing the transport direction relative to the carry-in direction through the inlet transport section 10.
