PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a correction range without increasing capacity for correction. SOLUTION: A sequential A/D converter includes a capacity array (6) whose one terminal is connected to a common connecting node (10) and a capacity array (7) for correction. The sequential A/D converter further includes: a voltage comparator (11) for detecting a voltage of the common connecting node (10); a sequential comparison register (14) to which a value is set based on output of the voltage comparator (11); a first control circuit (17) for switching a voltage to be applied to capacitance elements (CC<SB>00</SB>-CC<SB>5</SB>) constituting the capacity array (6) and the capacity array (7) for correction based on the value of the sequential comparison register (14); and a second control circuit (34) for switching another terminal of the capacity array (6) to an input analog signal or a first predetermined voltage and switching one terminal of the capacity array (7) for correction to the common connecting node (10) or a second predetermined voltage on the basis of a control signal.
