The motor vehicle has rear seat with hinged backrests (6) for enlargement of a loader area (4) behind it. Fixing devices (9) are provided at a rear side of one of the hinged backrests and in a passenger compartment. Further fixing units (3) are connected with the fixing devices. The fixing units are arranged at a planar structure (2) such that the planar structure immobilizes material loaded in the loader area and on the hinged backrests.
