The method involves partially executing a sound reproduction and/or sound recording for exchange of acoustic information by an impact sound of an emergency call equipment e.g. emergency telephone. Transverse waves are produced in a portion of a human hearing spectrum in the emergency call equipment. The transverse waves are partially produced by converting audio singles into mechanical vibrations by a bending wave converter. The produced transverse waves partly lie outside a human audio range. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for reproducing and inputting sound in an emergency call equipment.
