PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of a guide line by changing the luminance of the guide line in a driving support device which superimposes the guide line, which becomes a standard of driving actions including a lane change, on photographed images of the periphery of an own vehicle, and displays the images with the guide line. SOLUTION: The driving support device includes a photographing means (10), which photographs the periphery of the own vehicle (60); a display means (30), which displays a source images (12) photographed by the photographing means (10); a generation means (40), which generates the guide line (GL) that supplements the discrimination of road situation around the own vehicle (60) displayed in the source images (12); and a superimposing means (20), which displays on the display means (30) the guide line (GL) superimposed on the source images (12). The generation means (40) makes the luminance (L) of the guide line (GL) different from luminance (L) of at least a part of the images in the periphery of the guide line (GL).
