PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly rotate a hanging wire connection part relative to a body part even if it receives a tensile load when a flight speed of a flight body is reduced from a supersonic speed to a sound speed or less by opening a parachute, to eliminate transmission of a roll moment generated when the twisting of a hanging wire is returned to an original state to a mounting part and a transportation article, to eliminate rotation of the transportation article relative to a capsule, to eliminate receiving of damage to respective parts of the flight body, to reliably open the parachute, and to reliably reduce the flight speed of the flight body. SOLUTION: The parachute mounting device for mounting the parachute for speed-reducing the flight body provided with the capsule and the transportation article stored in the capsule from supersonic speed has a body part mounted to the transportation article or the capsule through the mounting part; a hanging wire connection part connected with the hanging wire of the parachute; and a thrust bearing for rotatably mounting the hanging wire connection part to the body part.
