PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection system and an inspection method which are capable of reducing a human error caused by the inspection of a machine.SOLUTION: The inspection system includes imaging means 41 for imaging an inspection object, comparison means 447 for specifying equipment corresponding to image information inputted from the imaging means 41 by using the shape information of an inspection object navigation DB 135 acquired by inspection object navigation DB acquisition means 134, display control means 450 for acquiring the monitoring information of the equipment specified by the comparison means 447 from the inspection object navigation DB 135 and displaying the monitoring information, so as to overlap it with a place where the equipment is displayed in display means 43, and inspection result registration means 451 for registering the inspection result of the equipment displayed in the display means 43, in correspondence with the identification information of the equipment, as inspection history information, according to the operation of an inspector. |
