PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing amorphous silica that meets various production conditions such as an increased drop speed of an alkali silicate aqueous solution and produces amorphous silica continuously and stably.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing amorphous silica by mixing and reacting an alkali silicate aqueous solution and a mineral acid to produce the amorphous silica includes a circulation vessel 1 equipped with a passage through which the mineral acid 7 flows in a fixed direction, means 2 for adding an alkali silicate aqueous solution which adds the alkali silicate aqueous solution to the mineral acid 7 flowing in the passage, and means 3 for recovering silica which recovers the amorphous silica 8. |
