PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a control program of a device in a terminal easily, in an environment where the terminal is not connected to an external network.SOLUTION: A first connection section 30 connects to a client device 12 to be connected to an MFP which executes processing in response to a request from the client device 12, without using a first network and a second network 22. An acquisition section 28A acquires a control program for controlling the MFP 14, over the second network 22, from an external device 18. A storage control section 28B stores the control program acquired by the acquisition section 28A, in a predetermined storage area 26A to be recognized by the client device 12 connected by the first connection section 30, as an external storage device. When connected to the client device 12 by the first connection section 30, a display control section 28C displays a use screen to prompt reading the storage area 26A, on a display unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
