摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode, capable of providing a lithium ion secondary battery that has a high capacity retention rate in charge/discharge cycles and has a low gas yield.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode includes: a positive electrode active material containing a compound represented by the following formula (1); particles containing an acrylic resin; a water-soluble polymer; and carbon. Li(MMnA)(OZ) (1) (In the formula (1), 0.4≤x≤1.2, 0≤y, x+y<2, 0≤a≤1.2 and 0≤w≤1 are satisfied, M represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Co, Ni, Fe, Cr and Cu, A represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Li, B, Na, Mg, Al, Ti, Si, K and Ca, and Z represents at least one of F and Cl).SELECTED DRAWING: None
