PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide capable of using outgoing light emitted from a light source efficiently.SOLUTION: A light guide 24 comprises: an optical branching section 242 for branching outgoing light emitted from a point light source 22 into light L1 and L2; light guide sections 244 and 246 for transmitting, while totally reflecting, the light L1 and L2 branched; and two reflecting sections for reflecting the light L1 and L2 transmitted inside the light guide sections 244 and 246. The light guide sections 244 and 246 emit the light L1 and L2 deviated from total reflection conditions as linear light L3 and L4 to the outside by the two reflecting sections. The optical branching section 242 includes: inclined planes 2424 and 2426 which are projected toward the point light source 22, and, in a plan view from a Z-axis direction, directed toward a first point on an optical axis O and substantially symmetrical with each other; and a connection section 2428 which connects the inclined planes 2424 and 2426 near the first point. The optical branching section 242 includes a light diffusing section 2430 which is facing the connection section 2428 in the direction of the optical axis O, and diffuses the outgoing light emitted from the point light source 22 toward each direction of the light guide sections 244 and 246. |
