The present invention provides: a reinforcing tape that has an excellent adhesiveness to a conductor and that can prevent a trouble such as the reinforcing tape being peeled off the conductor when a treatment such as gold plating is performed on the terminals of the conductor; and a flexible flat cable using the reinforcing tape. The reinforcing tape has, on one surface of an insulation film (A), an anchor coat layer (B) having a thickness of 5-50 μm and a hot-melt adhesive layer (C) having a thickness of 10-30 μm, in this order, wherein the anchor coat layer (B) is composed of a coating material preferably including: (b1) 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic saturated copolymer polyester resin; and (b2) 3-25 parts by mass of a compound having two or more isocyanate groups in one molecule. |
