PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable attenuator capable of continuously varying an attenuation amount of a circuit and continuously varying a passing phase without any continuous connection of a phase shifter.SOLUTION: A variable attenuator includes: a transistor 8 connected in parallel to a resistor 4; a transistor 9 connected in parallel to a resistor 5; and a transistor 10 whose one end is connected with a transistor circuit 3 and whose other end is connected with a resistor capacitor combination circuit 11. A control circuit 14 controls impedance of each of the transistors 8, 9, 10 by adjusting a gate bias voltage applied to the transistors 8, 9. 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
