PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal blind capable of preventing displacement of a slat in a horizontal direction.SOLUTION: A ladder cord includes a front side warp thread 12Lf and a rear side warp thread 12Lb extending at the front side and rear side of a slat 13; and two horizontal threads 12Wu and 12Wd which bridge the front side warp thread 12Lf and rear side warp thread 12Lb and form an intersection 12C between the front side warp thread 12Lf and rear side warp thread 12Lb. The slat 13 extends between the horizontal threads 12Wu and 12Wd. The slat 13 has a first insertion groove formed in the periphery of the slat 13 in a concave shape along a direction where the front side warp thread 12Lf and the rear side warp thread 12Lb are positioned which faces to one warp thread; and a second insertion groove formed being concave along a direction where the front side warp thread 12Lf and the rear side warp thread 12Lb are positioned in a bottom area of the first insertion groove to allow at least one horizontal thread to be inserted.
