PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable registration of an arbitrary speech as a subject to be recognized and to notify only the necessary information by determining the propriety of the notification of recognized speech. SOLUTION: A speech pattern is newly registered as the subject to be recognized into a feature memory section 51 in a memory section 50 and the notification information corresponding to the speech pattern registered is stored into an information memory section 52. Also, the speeches detected from a plurality of microphones 11 are analyzed and speech sources are discriminated.
