PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time duration until displaying a pre-view image and improve a working efficiency. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a scanner portion 120 which forms an image data of a scanned original; an operation indicator 130 which carries out an indicator output of an image to an operation input by an user; a first image transfer line 151 which connects a scanner portion 120 and a body portion 110 which performs image processing to the image data; and a pre-view image transfer line 150 which connects directly the scanner portion 120 and the operation indicator 130 without using the body portion 110. While the scanner portion 120 transmits the image data to the body portion 110 through the first image transfer line 151, the image data are transmitted to the operation indicator 130 through the pre-view image transfer line 150. The operation indicator 130 displays the image data received from the scanner portion 120 at LCD 133 as a pre-view image of the scanned original. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
