PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an effect of distortion correction required to a terminal so as to obtain almost maximum power of a power amplifier with simple configuration, low power and high speed. SOLUTION: A distortion compensation arrangement with which a nonlinear distortion generated when a carrier signal carries out power amplification of a quadrature modulated request high frequency signal with a transmission request wave signal is compensated, comprises: operation parts 21-23 which calculate an enveloped component signal by subtracting DC component from the transmission request wave signal; an enveloped DC component formation portion 101 which forms the DC component of the enveloped component, and the enveloped component signal acquired by the operation part; a distortion compensatory signal formation portions 24, 25 and 26 which acquire the distortion compensatory signal multiplying to the transmission request wave signal and excluding a reference wave signal component; and summing portions 52 and 53 which adjust a phase-shifting and a magnitude by a phase shifter 50 and a variable attenuator 51, and add the distortion compensatory signal to the transmission request wave signal. A correction factor of the phase shifter 50 and the variable attenuator 51 is desirably generated on the basis of a magnitude error of an output enveloped component signal and a reference enveloped component signal.
