PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter wherein current detection is used to generate a cut-off timing signal for an internal switching device and degradation in efficiency can be suppressed in this current detection. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter includes: a first switching element that on/off-controls a current passed from the primary side to the secondary side; a second switching element that is provided in parallel with the first switching element, is on/off-controlled with the same timing as the on/off timing for the first switching element, and is lower in current rating than the first switching element; and a current sensing resistor inserted and connected between the primary-side node of the second switching element and the primary side of the first switching element.
