PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to acquire quality images even when photographing under a light source generating flicker.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes charge storage means for storing charge according to the intensity of incident light, detection means for detecting flicker on the basis of a plurality of output signals obtained by performing a plurality of times of charge storage with the charge storage means, calculation means for calculating the timing of the feature point of the flicker detected by the detection means on the basis of the plurality of output signals obtained by performing a plurality of times of charge storage with the charge storage means, and control means for controlling the imaging timing on the basis of the timing of the feature point calculated by the calculation means. When flicker is detected by the detection means before continuous photographing, the calculation means calculates the timing of the feature point, in performing the continuous photographing, on the basis of a plurality of output signals obtained by performing a plurality of times of charge storage with the charge storage means during the interval of the photographing. |
