A system for generating energy (100) from a fluid flow (105) is proposed. The system comprises energy conversion means (110), sailing means (130), switching means (125), sailing connecting means (135), main connecting means (120), recovery means, aerostatic means (140), aerostatic connecting means (145), the sailing means being slidable along the aerostatic connecting means. The switching means comprises distantiating means (150), locking means (155). Moreover, the system further comprises means for applying a first pulling force to the main connecting means upon reaching a first distance of the switching means from the energy conversion means for deactivating the locking means with the sailing connecting means in a separated position in such a way to let the sailing means in the active condition slide towards the aerostatic means at least up to the contact position of the sailing connecting means wherein the sailing means wraps onto the aerostatic means thereby switching to the passive condition and for applying a second pulling force to the main connecting means upon reaching a second distance of the switching means from the energy conversion means lower than the first distance for deactivating the locking means with the sailing connecting means in the contact position in such a way to let the sailing means in the passive condition slide away from the aerostatic means at least up to the separated position of the sailing connecting means thereby switching to the active condition. |
