<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying device comfortably usable by cutting off noise due to the conveying of paper by closing a gap between a paper cassette and a device body. <P>SOLUTION: This paper conveying device comprises the paper cassette 25 for loading recording paper thereon, a pair of relay rollers 28a, 28b and a pair of regist rollers for holding and conveying the recording paper, and conveying passages f1 to f3 for the recording paper. A gap s between a cassette cover 41 and a front cover 42 communicating with vertical conveying passages f1 to f3 arranged on the front surface side of the device is closed by mounting a cutoff material 70 composed of a sponge 71 and a PET sheet 72 on the lower surface 42c of the front cover 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
