<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller which does not require a drying step, and is manufactured in a short time, whose variance in characteristic is small, which is excellent in the slidability of its surface and is manufactured even under atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive roller is equipped with cured substance composed by cationically polymerizing a material mixture containing a cationic polymerized compound, at least a kind of compound selected from a group composed of a fluorine containing compound and a silicon containing compound, and an optical cationic polymerization initiator by UV irradiation. It is desirable to use a compound having an oxirane ring and vinyl ether as the cationic polymerized compound.
