<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module preventing the displacement of the place of an optical element even when an external force works to a terminal section for a lead frame by generating a warping to a substrate fixing the lead frame and having a stable high performance to the external force. <P>SOLUTION: The optical module has the optical element 3 and the lead frame 1 with a plurality of the terminals 1B, 1C and 1D fixed to a first fitting section 2 mounting the optical element and the substrate 7.
