<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording system where a portable terminal and a broadcast receiver cooperate with each other to store data. <P>SOLUTION: When video-recording instruction is input when data of a channel selected by a user is received and the received data is displayed, the portable terminal transmits instruction information instructing video recording of data of the selected channel to the broadcast receiver. The broadcast receiver has a first storage means for storing the data of the received channel for a prescribed period or by a prescribed capacity, and a second storage means for storing the data according to the instruction information transmitted from the portable terminal. When the second storage means receives the data of the selected channel when receiving the instruction information from the portable terminal, the second storage means starts storing of the data of the selected channel and reads the data of the selected channel stored by the first storage means to store. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
